About the Townhouse
Built in 1884, this fully-restored turn of the century row house is used host corporate and political events. Amway House hosts over fifty events a year, including receptions for visiting IBO’s, meeting space for overseas affiliates visiting DC, and a “home base” for fellow members of the Direct Selling Association during visits to Captiol Hill. Due to its close proximity to the Capitol, it is also used for fundraising events by congressional and senatorial candidates that are supportive of issues important to Amway.
Political and Industry Events
Hosting events for Members of Congress at Amway House gives the Government Affairs staff the unique opportuninty to discuss issues of importance to Amway with legislators. It also allows us to showcase our brands and products to a wide audience including industry respresentatives.
Corporate Events
In addition to housing the Washington, D.C. based Government Affairs team, Amway House is also accomodates visiting employees, Affiliates and IBOs.
Philanthropic and Community Events
In support of our corporate vision "Helping people live better lives", Amway House hosts events for a variety of organizations representing causes important to our employees.
